Ann grew up in Allentown, PA, but has lived in Lewes since 1978. She and her husband, and their two daughters, moved to Lewes from Salisbury, MD when they purchased the Western Auto Store on Lewes Beach. After owning that business for 22 years, they semi-retired, still owning and managing the Five Pointe Plaza Shopping Center. She began working part-time for Clay Monroe Insurance in 2003 when the office was located above Agave on 2^nd Street in Lewes. She has an Associate degree from Delaware Technical & Community College in business and is an active member of Beta Sigma Phi service-oriented sorority, and many committees and programs at Bethel United Methodist church. She and her husband enjoy cruising, and her own personal hobbies include crafts, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.
